Fall is here, bring on the leaves and rain! The summer heat slowed us down a bit however we are using the cooler temperatures to make up the lost ground. As wetter weather returns it is not unexpected to see some movement in sidewalks and driveways.
With such a prolonged dry spell, sudden moisture can move things a bit. Even more so after the recent multi inch rain events. Don’t panic in most cases this will be modest and often not result in any serious issues.
When in doubt contact your builder or a trusted engineer. It’s worth noting the Farmers Almanac predicts a colder than typical winter for Texas this year. Deja Vu all over again.
We just started a house in Old Town Roanoke and our Argyle homes are complete and ready for families. We are also working on projects for 2025.
