In North Texas our soils are very exspansive and require special preparation when building a basement. Here is just a summary of some of the special requirements our basements are designed to include;

Proper Excavation

Reinforcement of concrete walls and flooring to account for our soils.

Gaskets installed along with proper reinforcement connections to multiple pour projects.

Unique concrete mixes designed for basement walls.

Preparation and membrane installation on exterior of basement walls.

Installation of gravel and water drainage systems prior to backfilling the basement walls.

Installation of sump pumps and water removal systems if required.

Compaction of soils surrounding basement walls prior to remaining of the foundation being installed.

Leaky Basement Repair

Over the years we have noticed several others incorporating basements or sunken rooms into their homes. Many times these rooms peform well but occassionally we come across water seepage issues.

We have teamed up with a company that specializes in water abatement and leak sealing to help offer a solution via our remodeling division. This allows us to offer a comprehensive approach to removing water damaged materials, stop the water penetration and work with our design team to put the room back together often with updates and new finishes.

Basement Finishout

Although we do not have many basements in our area and even fewer that are not finished out, our remodeling division can offer finishout options if you do have such a space.
